At The Dance Step, we provide our students with consistent, precise, and compassionate training. We focus on each student as an individual and develop their strengths while helping them to focus on and improve their weaknesses. We encourage and inspire our students to have confidence and determination when reaching their goals. Our lessons easily translate into life experiences. We teach them to believe in themselves first and foremost and prepare them to enter any "stage" with confidence, and grace.
The Dance Step began in August of 1991. Through the past 28 years, we have expanded from offering Ballet, Pointe, Tap and Jazz to now offering Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Musical Theater and Adult beginner tap. Our students have the option of being a member of our performance group and/or competitive group. Our competitive group, "Pride and Joy", began in 1992. We have found that attending competitions even with a small group of students has helped us to see our strengths and improve on our weaknesses. We are able to stay current with the art of dance as it changes and progresses.
It allows us to offer fresh and unique concepts and choreography to all of our students.
